OSHA Industry Outreach Program (10 hr.)

10-Hour General Industry
  • This training program is intended to provide entry level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a job site.  The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter.  Training will emphasize hazard identification avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.
10-Hour Construction Industry
  • This training program is intended to provide entry level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint as well as how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site.  The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a construction site.  Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.
10-Hour Maritime Industry
  • This training program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the maritime industry.  The program also provides information regarding the workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.  This class is intended to provide workers with awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards. 

Length: 10 hrs.
